M880 throttle body injector for suzuki

Postby renaudalpine on Fri Jun 12, 2026 7:13 pm

Hello,
I have a few questions for a project.

Suzuki 4x4 sj413 G13ba code engine,4 cylinder 8V 1300cc Single Point Injection with TBI.
They are a distributor cap and rotor. The distributor had one magnetic ref trigger sensor with four teeth (90°)
This engine had only this triggering.

This ecu can work with this SPI configuration engine? (4 cylinders four stroke, One injector, multi tooth)?
What are the right parameters to choose if it's right?
The OEM TBI (mikuni brand) injector is 1.6 ohms. It's better to add a resistor or can i control it directly?

Thank you very much.
Regards

Hi,

Do you have a reason for doing this? What are your expectations from installing the M880 into this vehicle?

That trigger type is not supported with the M880 and using a single injector will not give consistent fuelling across the cylinders.

Hi,
I already have an M880 that i use on other vehicles. I mount and tune myself, i work in Motorsport.
I want to use this ECU, and for one use keep of many original parts as possible.
This 4X4 which is mine need to be tuned for work with gasoline and ethanol e85 (flexible-fuel vehicle).
By adding sensors, flexfuel sensor.....and some functions.
Thank you.
