SIGNAL FROM DRENTH GEARBOX TO MOTEC M800

Postby kareembassanTAX on Tue Sep 20, 2022 4:21 am

Hello i’ve recently installed a Drenth Sequential Gearbox With KMP Paddle Shifters in my EVO X.
I Have a AIM Dash which shows all information but im not sure how I’ll see the gear signal from the gearbox to the dash and im also not sure how to set up the ignition cut for the car so i can shift it without the clutch, If Anyone has any information or is able to help please let me know. I Can provide any information you may need. Thank You

Is the Aim Dash configured for a gear position sensor, or is it calculating the gear from RPM / speed or is it receiving a gear channel from either the M800 or KMP system?

Does the KMP paddle shift system have an ignition cut output designed to be connected to an ECU?

The Aim dash get information from the motec M800, The Kmp software has a software management for the gearbox and ignition cut settings. Im not sure how to get everything to communicate with each other. So im not sure what to do
