ECU Manager Software Gauges Background Color Problem

Postby Kam on Fri Jul 08, 2022 7:37 am

Hi,
While designing my own layout for the gauges and indicators in the latest ECU Manager software, I chose the background color of the gauges to be black, the needle yellow...
Every time I exit/restart the software the gauges background returns to white
Can this be fixed ?

Thank You
Kam

Hi,

When you make the changes, are you saving the layout before you close ECU Manager? (Layout | Save As...)

As the ECU Manager is a discontinued product, there will be no changes made to it.

I know probably a bit of uncertainty at the moment for corporate decisions but is there a chance ECU Manager could be open sourced so a little modernisation and compatibility with future OS releases could be community maintained? maybe just keep the function and password unlock as a blob to keep the secret squirrel caged for those functions if deemed required...

Hi Kam,

If you define a custom colour as R:1 G:1 B:1 Hue:160 and Lum: 1 and set this as your black gauge background, it will save it providing you save the layout.
