m400 coil on plug conversion, dwell

Postby gazt00 on Wed Mar 16, 2022 2:26 am

hi, im doing a coil on plug conversion on a lancia delta its running a motec m400 and the customer wants to change from distributor to coil on plug , im stuggling with the dwell time settings, it is using a bosch 0227100211 ignition module and bosch p50 single fire coils, on the bosch website it gives you the values for 16v, 14v, 12v, 10v etc i was wondering how i work out the values in between? below is from the bosch specs.

6v 7.7ms
8v 4.51ms
10v 3.2ms
12v 2.51ms
14v 2.06ms
16v 1.74ms

thanks, Gaz

Hi,

The ECU will interpolate the dwell times needed for the battery voltages in between the supplied data. Just enter the supplied data into the Dwell Table.
