EJ207 Cam Position Sensors

So, after reading again the M800 manual, i have a question about the EJ207 vr cam position sensor wiring to the DIG inputs. Since the DIG inputs have pullup resistors on them, i cannot just wire the vr sensors to them...is it possible to make a trick with +12V and pulldown resistor, similar like when wiring the 2wire abs sensors ? Or, i have no other way than going to hall sensors? Thanls
