M880 Cam Control Option

Good day, i have a little problem. A client of mine asked me to unlock the cam control function in his ecu, he emailed me a picture of the back of the ecu, and the serial was the one in the picture. I have ordered the option, and today when he came by with the ecu, to unlock it, guess what? The serial number is different....MoTeC Europe told me that there is no way to change the code, or for them to send me another one....i'm hoping that maybe someone here can help. Thank you!
