Hi Busaman,
i can give you a sensor who work with precision...
we use it on a GSX-R1000K4 to K8 in the German SBK..
i think you can build a mounting plate and it's possible to use it behind
the clutch basket...
The sensor as a value from 0 to 5 Kohms and work like a TPS sensor...no
hesitate between two gears...no chance to go through 0....

I have put in a feature request for this function for the Mx00 ECU and will let you know if or when it can be implemented.
