F3 Traction control and Launch Control

Postby John Boothman on Mon Jul 30, 2018 5:07 pm

I have converted a 2001 F3 to M800 ECU and want to set up TC and LC.
I have already set up an ADL on this car.
Do I need to replicate the chopper wheel with the same number of teeth as is now on FR wheel for wheel speed to the other 3 wheels?
Also set up the same GT 101 sensor for the other 3 wheels?
Currently I have wheel speed sensor only connected to Dig 1 for RHF on the ADL dash, nothing on the ECU.
I assume I need to connect the 4 wheel speed sensor wires to the ECU to Dig 1, 2, 3,and 4 , or B 8 to 11?
What pin numbers do I need to connect the 8V and the 0V wires from the GT101 to, on the ECU?
The ECU has Traction control activated but the settings for set up look daunting.
Please reply re the above so I can get started and if possible set down the next few steps I need to plan.

I hope you can assist me with this .

Regards

Hi John,

You need at least one non driven wheel speed, and preferably both driven wheel speeds connected to the ECU to have traction control working.

I have attached the Mx00 Traction Control Technotes for you.
