Just if anyone is wondering, the newer GM V8's have the BMW Mode 17 for the ref and sync. 60-2 on the crank with a magnetic sensor and four sync teeth, two long and two short, the sync edge is which ever one in NOT evenly spaced. This mode has turned up on quite a few other engines, like the VW VR6 with switched cams.

Hi, does anyone have any idea of what CRiP setting to use (as a start) when using the standard L76/L98 sensors (M800)? :| I know the older 24 tooth systems used a 455 degree CRiP angle. Cheers
