Quick lambda not working?

Postby Shiggy on Tue Dec 16, 2008 11:50 pm

Hi

I'm now doing M800 setup, though I can't use quick lambda...
Lambda meter is Horiba, analog output from the meter is connected to LA1 and LA1 pins.
Sensor type in wideband lambda setup is set to 0 (narrow band or PLM)
and sensor input is correctly set.
Lambda is shown in sensor input and actually lambda control is working.

however, if I press "Q" to do quick lambda, ECU manager say
"LA1 is set to off, you need to set sensor type as lambda sensor or set sensor input setting".
I actually set them out, but ECU manager won't do.. what is the problem?
Is quick lambda only work with internal lambda?

Please advise.... ECU manager is 3.41G and M800 FW version is 3.41G.

If you have lambda working the Quick Lambda function should work. It sounds like you might have the wrong sensor selected for quick lambda mode, you can find this paramerter under the menu Adjust/Sensor Setup/WIdeband Lambda Setup/Quick Lambda Mode.
