RBW GSXR 1000 K5 some questions

Postby thorstengsxr on Thu Aug 07, 2014 12:50 am

Hi guys

Ok her is one of my winter projects and I have some questions about before I start
First I know that only some special Persons are certificated from Motec to calibrate a DBW system. But before these steps comes. I have some question about the setup of the DBW in the M800.
First my configuration
• Bike GSXR 1000 K5
• Panigale E-Gas stick with TPD and TPD2 this is clear
• DC Motor Maxon with Planetary Gearhead
Know the questions
• TP Sensor is Standard on the throttle body did I need TP2 also?
• What is the function of the DCSovP AV input and did I need it?
• Function of AUX1 and 2 to 5 or 116 and is it right that this outputs can have 5 Amps
I hope this Forum can help me. The most of the people I ask make a big secret about this thinks.

Hi Ok

most of my questions are clear
Yes I need the TP2
No I dont need DCSovP
Aux 1 function is DBW not dc

know i have one more Question.
The DC Motor for my system most have the following points.
0,9Nm and 300 U/min
The problem of the DC motors I find was the all of tham have a stall current of 100 Amps and this is out of the range of the Aux1 of my m800.
So is it possible to put a DHB Module between the Aux 1/2 and the DC Motor by Drive by wire configuration?
