Ion Sensing coils

Okay Mark, here we go :)

Dwayne, please give us your input!

Mark,Dwayne,......the BMW S65B40 (M3 V8) Ion sensing coil is on its way to you....With a banks butterfly`s and its DBW motor and also the Idle/Low load DBW, and some interesting sensors

Ive also included the plug that it runs. Its a NGK "R" LKR8AP (smooth porcelain...double ground electrode)

Just a note for anyone wanting to join this thread: MoTeC are not currently looking at this technology for inclusion in our ECUs (but you never know). Anything said here is more for the discussion than anything else.

Just so we don't get a hundred emails asking when people can hook it up to their M800. :)

After 4 years, is there anything new about ion sensing?
