M400 with motec GPS sensor

Postby extonson on Sun Mar 30, 2014 6:16 pm

Hi - I have a M400 and have installed a gps sensor. I want to track map my local track , and use the captured data to sort the car. I have read the logging, and have gps speed , altitude and position, sat acquired never below 6, but usually 8.

I have acquired the start and finish line GPS positions , but can't see where to input them in i2, nor can I gat a map to create properly.

Does motec have a written procedure on this?
Where can I find the information to get this sorted?

Any help appreciated.

Make sure that you have the latest version of i2, and got to TOOLS | LAP GENERATOR this will open up a window that allows you to enter the co-ordinates that you have for the start finish line. If you do not have the co-ordinates, open the channels in the logging screen and align the cursor with the approximate location of the start finish line, then open the lap generator function. This should automatically propagate the co-ordinates into the function.

This has to be done for each set of logged data.
