MoTeC M4 Values for 1000cc injectors

Postby Rage Cayman on Sun Dec 20, 2009 2:24 am

I have a built Honda B16a motor with Precision 1000cc injectors. I use the Motec M4 as my EMS now what are the values to set in the M4 for the injectors.I don't see these injectors listed in the help screen .

Main Setup:
Injector Scaling _________?
Injector Current _________?
Injector Battery Comp ______?

I would be very appreciative in someone will share this info with me.
Thanks,
Kirk.

Come on M4 users, someone must have use these precision 1000 cc before with the Motec M4, or should i use these at the office as paper weight and purchase the new Injector Dynamics 1000 cc saturated injectors?

I assume your Precision injectors are peak/hold thus it will give you a base idea what your settings would be.
Injector scaling depends on the fueling values you have to suit your table if its made for turbo or normally aspirated..Injector current may range from 2.0-4.0 for your application..you may ask Precision Injectors on what their injector design has been originally based(e.g. Rochester, etc) for your Injector battery comp values..You might do some reading and research to understand what the values you're putting in your main setup.
