M4 novice in need of some direction
Posted: Fri Mar 21, 2025 11:25 amHi, I recently purchase a unused M4 serial number 3906. It came with the wiring harness.
Why bother with an obsolete ECU? From what I can gather, these are good units and will do everything I need for a naturally aspirated V8. If tome and money allows I might add boost at some point.
The intent is to retro fit to a 1956 Desoto Hemi of 330 Cu in or 5.4 L.
At this point I have managed to get access to the ECU using the Motec software on an windows device.
so far so good
in roundabout way, I'm seeking advice or a file to get this ECU paired to the motor. fuel mapping I guess.
