Guten Abend,
Ich habe ein altes Motec M4 Steuergerät in meinem Golf. Es ist im Jahr 2001 programmiert worden. Besteht die Möglichkeit die Daten vom Steuergerät zu sichern und eventuell auf ein neueres M4 Steuergerät zu übertragen.
Es muss aber gesichert sein das die Daten auf dem älteren M4 erhalten und unverändert bleiben.?

Hi Dirk,

As long as the new M4 uses the same or a more recent firmware, you will be able to migrate the file from the old M4 to the new one. If the Firmware version on the new M4 is an older version, you will need to upgrade the M4 Firmware to use the file as they are not backwards compatible.

Gibt es eventuell eine Anleitung zum Auslesen des älteren M4.
Im Auto ist eine serielle Schnittstelle dafür vorhanden.
Nur bin ich mit der Software nicht wirklich vertraut.
