Ref Sync Modes

Postby prule on Thu Apr 30, 2020 1:51 pm

Hi,
I have an M48 and am trying to work out what the differences are in certain Ref Sync modes.
Some types have a range, eg 1-4, 11-14, 71-74 etc.
So, what are types 1,2,3,4 and 11,12,13,14 ?
Is this to do with the combination of ref and sync sensor type? eg If the Ref is a hall sensor and the sync is a mag sensor and one is a rise type and one is a fall type?
I can't find a table explaining this in the help, just some odd mentions of it in this forum.
Would help, as I'm experimenting with different combinations at the moment.

Thanks
Paul

The help for ref/sync mode - general is where you will find the table (see below). The ranges are always in the same order, so for example 71 is rise/rise 72 rise/fall etc etc

You can see the path to the help in the help window title bar. So open EMP, Use Adjust, then General Setup, then Main Setup, then select the Ref/Sync Mode line, and press F1. When the windows pops up asking for which help, choose the first line "General". Then use the up/down arrow keys to scroll
