I believe that is for their test conditions (4" dia wheel, .1" wide trigger teeth). Are you trying to design a trigger wheel for use with the sensor, or do you have a trigger wheel you want to make sure the sensor is compatible with?

What are you trying to measure? We use this sensor with a 9-tooth trigger wheel for wheelspeed without any problems.

As above, it depends entirely what you want to use it for.

A 3" 60 tooth wheel will have a vastly different tooth reading than a 30" 6 tooth wheel

For wheel speeds with half decent sized teeth I'd doubt it will ever have a problem. I wouldnt be using it for most crank trigger applications though, unless it's a lowish tooth count.

I wanted to use my stock 12t pluss 1 (fd3s)
But just change the sensors from mag to hall
looking for a sensor i can use
I see what u mean about wheelsize

I can make a wheel but wanted to use ref and sync as i intend to use the seq injection
And from what ive read u need to use both the ref and sync to have that option

Do you have a sensor part number that will suit better
I can make the mounting points for it no problem

What's wrong with the mag sensors already there ?

If you really must change, pick a sensor from a factory vehicle with a similar trigger wheel setup and use that

This one works very well for physically small teeth on smaller diameter wheels. Just use a fairly strong pullup (500k-1K) to the output with 8v, use 8v for the Vin. Weaker pullups shark fin the waveform a bit. Ignore the 2nd channel with the offset use channel A.

I would not use the GT101 for missing or additional tooth modes. The missing /extra tooth messes with its internal circuitry.
