Unknown switch on M4

Hey Guys seeing if someone would be able to tell me what this dial would do. I have a Motec M4 and there is a dial which has 3 wires coming from it going into the ECU. The pins used on this dial go to Pin18 (AUX Volt), Pin5 (5v going to TPS) and Pin27 (Digital 1 0V).

My 13B Turbo blew up (i know, nothing out of the ordinary but it was rebuilt about 10,000 Kms ago) and just seeing if this would have anything to do with ECU adjustment??

Thank You, Dave.

The AUX Volt input can be used in a number of different functions within the ECU, the only way to tell for sure what the dial changes would be to connect to the ECU and check the configuration file.

You can use a USB to serial converter to connect to the ECU, as long as the converter appears as a com port on your laptop it will work, one that we have tested and sell is made by ATEN.

In addition to this you will need one of 2 cables, if the serial number of your M4 is less than 3000 then you will need a PCI cable available from your local MoTeC dealer, if it is greater than 3000 then you will need to check the wiring as it could have been setup to use either the PCI cable or a normal serial cable available from any pc store.

Yeah i bought a USB to Serial a while back but i wasn't able to get it to work. The serial number on the MoTeC is 4507 and the EPS is 0207
