this might be a silly question and i may not have looked hard enough, but for the life of me i cannot find a detailed drawing of exactly what each pin location is for....obviously i have seen the drawings for the wiring harness digrams etc but this doesnt cover every single pin location. is there a drawing that covers this somewhere?

The M4 ECU Wiring can be found in the user manual.
You can download it from here: M4_M48_M8_Manual_A5.pdf
Page 55 to be precise.

They don't all work as advertised. I would buy one from MoTec, as they have tested them.

The USB to serial adapter we sell is an ATEN UC232A.Important to install the correct driver software from aten.com website and ensure in device manager you set the adapter to COM Port 1. Sometimes windows sets the com port for the adapter to something like COM 15 which is outside the range of the M4 ECU Manager software.
