Discussion and support for MoTeC's earlier generation ECUs

Synchro Rev

Postby lonestarrpm on Thu May 26, 2011 11:51 pm

I'm new to engine management computers -- but I'm a electrical engineer
that does basic programming all the time.

If I wanted to program the capabilities to do Synchro Rev
is it possible with an M48?

I figure I would need RPM count, Wheel Speed, and which gear was I in indicator,
clutch engagement switch, and a map of gear ratios.

Is this type of programming possible? Is there an upgrade that might make it possible?

thanks,

Mike

And if you had brake pressure - then you would know when to do down shift rather than upshift.

I'd even be ok with a button on the steering wheel to engage it.

That way both feet in wouldn't free rev the engine.
