Hi all,
I use one Motec M4 on my Lancia Delta Hf intégrale.
I want optimize the injection timing. I use RC Eng 750 cc injectors.
Timing angle Inlet : 8° BTDC and 42° ABDC

Can you advice me for the setting from phasing for my fuel injection.

How does one optimize the injection timing?

Regards Ludo

I just got done with this book...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Four-stroke-Performance-Tuning-Graham-Bell/dp/1859604358
a bunch of good stuff in there on the subject.

Is that Lancia Delta Hf intégrale a turbo?

So You have 4 injectors?

In the book mentioned - in the chapter on injection (NA) he says works well at WOT to open them a bit before valve opening. And past ~60+ % duty cycle then sequential does not work much different than bath fire.

Going for the "injector-closing" at, or near, valve closing seems to works at WOT for many.
For idle and low throttle, it is popular to go for "injector-opening" at or before valve opening.

It gets tricky to have moderate duty cycle on the injectors and to also have them open enough to idle, which I think is why small and large injectors give better drivability.
But he explains it better in the book than my ramblings.

Also stated in the book that it can take a lot of dyno time to get the injector phasing idealize with respect to power, fuel efficiency, and drivability. But one of these injector-phase schemes should get it going.
