Hi! I want to do away with the distributor on my 1998, 2.0L VW Jetta engine and replace it with a Coil on Plug (COP) or wasted spark coil pack system. With the current mechanical distributor, the ignition system starts to break up at around 5K RPM's on the dyno. The engine is turbo charged (7-lbs boost) and mounted into a dune buggy so all of VW wiring has been replaced (with the exception of the stock VW coil and distributor) with a MoTec M-4 ECU. What can I use to meet my project goal?
