M48 Throttle position calibration

Postby pascal77uk on Thu Dec 07, 2023 8:51 am

Hi Guys,

I need some help with a M48. I have fitted a new TPS and it’s a superseded part with difference readings the the old one.

I have never done into the M48 just left everything to my mappped but want to re calibrated the new sensor myself. I’ve looked into it a little but haven’t found much info for a newbie. Can any one talk me through the processs thanks. I have a cable and a old laptop. Do I need to down load any software etc ? Thanks

Hi,

You will need to download the M48 EMP from here. This is the most recent version of the EMP, if you have an earlier version of the EMP installed on the M48, you will be prompted, if this is the case, then you can then download the required version from the Downloads Page on the MoTeC Website.

Once this is installed (Windows 7 32bit or older is required) then using the PCI Cable, connect to the M48 and navigate to Sensor Setup | Throttle Position and set the High and Low positions for the throttle.
