Problem triggering thermatc fan

Is it possible to damage the thermatic fan output inside ecu ? Ive tried switching from aux 1 to aux 4 same result nothing
As im not getting a signal out of the ecu pin 36 on motec m2r
I got some 1 to do the wiring for a well none mazda specilist in portsmouth but when i got it back
The engine started gettin hot so i check the fan output and nothing not triggering relay, is it possible ecu is dammeged
Im going to ask the guy tomaro mabe somthing not set up

Solved i was testing output in diagnostic mode
That was my problem as soon as i go into aux 4 it automatilcy trigers a 0v even tho it says off
But the relay was the fault causing no activation internal fault
Im happy once again
