hunting idle on M4

Postby levinracer on Thu Oct 18, 2012 1:25 pm

i cant work it out...i have played and played but i cant see how i can stop my map from hunting....i've tried putting fuel in, i've tried taking fuel out...nothing....it just hunts and hunts???

the other thing is, from cold to 60deg c the idle is high, like around 1600-1800rpm then when it gets to 60deg it drops and hunts....

any ideas?

What engine is it?
How much ignition timing have you got at Idle?
What Idle valve are you using?
Cam specs would help as well.

build a ridge with ignition timing for it to idle against, and open your throttle a bit more at idle
